Throughout the times, Of woes and troubles, You are always there, With a protective cuddle, I feel your wings Envelop me whole, Always there to protect my soul, Through darkest times, You show me the light, You lead the way Without fear or fright, Your beauty is boundless, Your love is pure, Your presence creates, An instant cure, Troubles become distant, When you are near, I will always know, The answer is clear, To trust in my angel, And set aside my fears.

Several Years ago I started to realise that despite all the things that go on in this world, nothing is necessarily as it would seem. No matter how hard you try to understand why certain things would happen, you would feel that the timing was never right. Constant stress and strain at work and at home, everyone else seems to be doing better than yourself, there is an endless battle to try and keep up with the current trends that life throws at us all. You may find that you spend so much time looking after other people that rarely does the opportunity arise, for the self care, love and attention that you so richly deserve. Take time out of your busy life and look deeper into yourself, look within to the real you. Enjoyment of life is of paramount importance to each and every individual on this very planet, so take each day as it comes, savour the sunny mornings even appreciate the rainfall that cleanses mother earth. We all know that our bills must be paid, the car needs expensive repairs, the house needs renovating, but all in all too much time is spent on all the material things in life and not enough time is spent on what we actually need in our lives. Ask yourself that famous question, am I buying those goods because I need them...? Or am I just buying them because I want them...? A very valid question I think, and if you really think about it, a lot of what you have, may have been because you just wanted it? I know that there have been many occasions in my life, where I thought it more important to own as much as I could, just to feel so much better in myself. However in reality all I was doing was depriving myself of the things that I truly needed. I was soon to meet some new friends due to looking for some answers to many questions that had started to surface. These new friends had helped me to see, where I had been going wrong, during my earlier years, and after a lot of soul searching, I have discovered that life has many opportunities to give, if only each individual would allow, each and every opportunity into its rightful place. But in order to create the space for them, you would have to let go of the things that were holding you back, out with the old and in with the new, so to speak. Things can be tough at times but I know deep down that no matter what happens; Love is the strongest and purest gift that any individual could ever have. Anyway, I have written a selection of poems for you to read, I hope that you will find some answers in them, or there may even be one of them that is appropriate to you, I also hope that you find your true self again and have a more complete life. As for the title of this book, that was chosen purely because it is a symbol that the angels use, as a calling card, for those that need that little bit of reassurance, or even proof that They are around, as we all well know, that there are a number of individuals that would rather believe in all they see, but not what they cannot see.
